Following her breakout success as a finalist on Israel’s The Next Star, singer Mira has released her highly anticipated debut album, Behind the Scenes. Stepping away from the traditional singles-driven approach, the project is presented as a full concept album, carefully produced and engineered by WAIN (Ofir Wainboim) and designed to be experienced from start to finish.
The album follows a distinctive structure, built around key songs such as “Tell Your Story,” “Confess,” and the title track “Behind the Scenes.” These tracks are connected by atmospheric interludes titled “Between,” creating a continuous flow that ties the entire project together. This approach highlights WAIN’s role beyond production, positioning him as a musical architect who shapes the album’s narrative and emotional direction. Handling production, mixing, and mastering, WAIN delivers a sound that gives Mira’s vocals room to shine. The album moves effortlessly between intimate, piano-led moments like “To My Heart” and the expansive, cinematic feel of the closing track “Giant Wheel.” Each song feels purposeful, contributing to the larger story the album tells.
