Liqueedo, also known as Arturo Molinara, has released a powerful new single, “Out of Nowhere.” Born in Salerno, Liqueedo has been deeply influenced by English music and culture since his early years. At just 14, he began singing in a cover band, performing songs by the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and Sex Pistols, alongside musicians 20 years his senior. In 1999, he made a promise to his best friend that he would one day release an album dedicated to him. This promise has now been realized.
With his first band, the Oceans, Liqueedo performed live across Italy. Their demo created a buzz on radio stations and in newspapers. Their track “Echoic Memories” achieved significant success, particularly on Insomnia Radio UK, where it was highly praised by English listeners. However, personal setbacks and a serious accident forced Arturo to pause his musical journey. Yet, the call of music is relentless. During the pandemic, he reunited with old friends Andrea Bruno, GianMario Galano, and Federico Cozza to breathe new life into old recordings and create new ones. Their efforts caught the attention of legendary DJ Marco Biondi, leading to a contract with SorryMom! and preparations for his debut album at GOLDMINE RECORDS, to be distributed by Universal Music and BeNextMusic. Despite the delay, a promise is a promise.
