Ship Her Son’s ‘Soundtrack to the Daily Agenda’ captures the weight and noise of daily life with unsettling accuracy. Created by Anton Shiferson, the Ukrainian post-industrial artist behind the project, this second album explores what it means to live under constant strain. It’s a dark reflection of the mind that never rests — from waking too early with heavy thoughts to ending the day too tired to find peace. Musically, it’s a step into a heavier and more physical sound, blending post-industrial grit with noise-rock, techno, punk, and ambient layers. Recorded over three years in Lviv, it gathers voices from across Ukraine, each performance raw and emotionally charged, giving the album both intimacy and depth.

The album opens with “Light”, which feels like the first breath of the day — distant, uneasy, and tense beneath its calm surface. “I’m Going to the Club” follows with a mix of sarcasm and exhaustion, showing how even moments meant for escape feel routine and hollow. “Into Eternity” and Inhale stand as the record’s emotional centerpieces, both powered by haunting vocals and grinding rhythms that echo sleepless nights and spiraling thoughts. “All the Worst” turns up the intensity, using industrial textures and sharp beats to express the suffocating weight of negativity that lingers no matter how hard one tries to shake it.
“Magnet (Pulls Out of Chest)” introduces a surge of raw emotion, almost like a breaking point, where sound and feeling collide violently. “I Don’t Have the Strength” slows things down again, sounding both fragile and sincere, as if all energy has drained away. The album closes with “Final”, a haunting reflection that captures the exhaustion of a man who’s survived another endless day. Each track ties into the theme of quiet panic and emotional fatigue, making ‘Soundtrack to the Daily Agenda’ more than an album — it’s a mirror to modern life, where anxiety hides behind the simplest routines, and every beat feels like another heartbeat trying to keep up.
